Not sure if you can back-up games onto your xbox hdd. maybe with a j-tagged 360 you could. With lt+3 you can play back-up game discs (if correctly burned).

Axxxo, has written a tutorial about how to backup your own games>>>http://www.techkings.org/xbox-360/16202-backup-rip-xbox360-games-laptop-xbc-0800-firmware.html

if that is not what you meant, then just give us a little more info of exactly where you are and what you want to do.
if you are talking about putting the games onto the hard drive and playing them from there, thus saving the lazer and the disc, that is quite simple.

Use j4v3ds video if thats what your talking about but you still need the disc in the drive to play the game, it wont be used only as its starting up to check to see if you have the disc, obvious piracy prevention.
If your drive is flashed with the LT firmware you can backup your games and burn them to discs.
jTag is an option if you want to use a hard drive to play the games from without the disc but no xbox live or your banned!
The xkey is another option as well as other drive emulators which will allow you to put your games onto an external hard drive and play them through the xkey or similar, unknown or not confirmed live safe, hasnt been to many reports of bans by using this method but as always, all options are use at your own risk.
