yes I use a 500 GB portable USB hard drive on my H2S

How can I compress what is already on the drive and remove duplicate photos?

Not sure why you are wanting to compress drive, but you would have to initialise with the zgemma and that would format it to ext4, or maybe you could use partition software on your PC and have part reserved for other stuff

Sorry I wasnt clear, I want to compress the information on the portable Hard Drive so I can store it on my PC and then use the hard drive to record on my ZGemma

Yea used a referb wd 1tb for over a year no problems at all
