Cannot get vm line to work

Can anyone suggest why I cannot get a new vm line to work? soon as I switch back to my old line it works no problem and I have changed lines before without any problem.
New provider has said he has tried it on his box and it works ok, I have changed my BT hub to a spare still no joy and it will not work on either of my 2 boxes Amiko viper combo or zgemma. Can anyone help please ?

check to make sure all spaces are where they need to be.
if your old line is working there must be an issue with old line

Can you get ch4 and ch 5 to work?
If so, he's given you a duff line
 
HD come through the line
SD don't
This confirms the cable is connected
If it was a 24h test line it's probably expired
If you pasted it into newcamd.list check there's no other text in that file apart from the line
 
sounds like the line you have is a dud, try a test from someone else.

I assume as you've not got it working it is only a test and you haven't paid for it yet
