New to the forum, purchased a zgemma H2H a couple of weeks ago, been playing around it for the last couple of weeks and still can't get grips with a couple of things. I've used a couple of USB sticks but have now inserted a 64g SD Card
I am able to record but can't seem to record on series link or on anything on auto timer. When I go into EPG a select add auto timer I don't see the R highlighted for that episode or the following episodes. I've tried this for Eastenders as an example.
I've tried adding the programmes through the timer list but that does not appear to work, although they show on the timer listing. What are the step I can take to get the series link to work?
Also what checks can I take to get the pause/rewind to work? Does the SD card need reformatting?

Just to confirm I have the Virgin media interface and not sky
