Is there any other method that i can flash Tomato firmware on the new Netgear R7000?
A friend just bought the R7000 yesterday with the latest firmware on it ( V 1.0.9.88_10.2.88) but it won't let me flash with Tomato firmware.
For what i understand is that Netgear is trying to stop people flashing their router with 3rd party firmware.
In order to be able to flash Tomato firmware I need to downgrade the original firmware to V 1.0.3.56 which is about 15 steps back, I managed to do just 4 ( V 1.0.9.34 ) and it won't let me do the next one which is V 1.0.9.32.
