Car tyre inflator

It's becoming a joke now it's a £1 a pop at my nearest garage for air. 3 times I went the other day 3 times someone was using it and there's no room to wait so you have to drive off and call back.

A few months back I bought one from b&m bargains, it was about £8 absolutely sh*te, fell apart.
So, has any one got a home tyre inflator mains powered is fine but something abit more powerful and substantial. There's 3 cars here and my daughter's stupidly just spent £120 on 2 new tyres because they were under inflated due to not going the garage to put air in them.

I've Googled and looked at a few but it's always best if someone can vouche for one particular model. I've been told the cig lighter jobs are sh*te as well

Well worth getting a small compressor and a proper tyre pump.

I have Ring inflators , they were only about £12 , I was impressed …. I used to use a foot pump , so I got one for the kids and wife …not worth not having one

As others have said Ring inflators are good. I recommend the RTC1000 as the cheaper ones have more plastic parts internally. Look out for an offer on Amazon.

Have had one for about five years, packaged as AA, bought it in a petrol station on offer about £8 I think. never had to use it. Came out of B&Q last week and flat N/S/R tyre really nearly flat flat plugged into cig lighter, reached easily length wise and about ten minutes later 35 psi and off to tyre place ( fcuking screw), Well worth getting one and as @cactikid said even better with a battery connection if lead is long enough.

We work on site every day. It seems to be compulsory for every tradesman to brush the contents of there van off into the car park. Would be lost without this for the last 5 years.
But it may be the one from the first post... Paul

Had half a dozen electronic 12v pumps, all shite.
Bought a cheapo foot pump, forty minutes of exercise and puts half a pound of pressure in any tyre, may involve a bit of sweating and throwing up/dizziness etc but it's something to brag about in the pub if you survive.
Some blow job , was it a single barrel or double barrel.

I always had at home a puncture repair kit if i got a nail or screw into the threaded area.
Cant bend down now to do simple tasks.

Single barrel.

I hear that, my bending down/kneeling down days are long gone and they aren't coming back.
My walking up and down stairs days are numbered too.
Knees stopped working years ago and my hips are getting pissed off with the workload and have decided to go on strike.

If this threads turning into my knees and hips are f**ked I'm in.
1 knee f**ked 1 foot toes are curling under stairs have turned into an "Crystal Maze" room and are only attempted if I've left me phone up there

I got this out of Old Ford.
It’s what they supply with puncture repair kits in cars without a spare wheels.
I have had it for about nearly 10 years still going strong.
It does run off the cig lighter though, but works fine.

Pardon our interruption...
One of these came with the daughters car, it’s got the power compared to the cheap ones,if the cig lighter part falls apart put two crocodile clips on the wires and go straight on the battery
