CCCAM on a TV that has a CA Module?

I have a Sony Bravia Android TV, it has a DVB-C tuner built in and a slot for a CA Module.

As per the title, is it possible to install a CCCAM line directly onto the TV (maybe using the ca module), maybe even by having a raspberry pi or similar to guide the decoding?

Objective is to see if I can get the Cable channels onto the TV without having to control another box, just have the channels directly scanned onto the TV.

first of all I would check if by plugging cable feed into the tv if you can view bbc1 sd?

I've one of our tv's (or has my son taken it with him) had a DVB-C tuner but i couldn't get anything on it when connected to virgin..

I have not found a CA module that can assist sky or virgin.

Thanks all, this is a shame. Lots of Tv's have them seems like there would be a market for it!

Init would of solved a lot of hassle

Foreign sats might be accessed by these conditional access modules,CONAX,IRDETO,VIACCESS etc.
