did you mark the wires before you cut them ? with The power off connect blue to 3 , grey to 6 , if it goes the wrong way , remove the power connect blue to 1 , grey to 4

I took a pic of the wires before i cut them off and if need be i can open the other one up i have at the other side of the room its identical

Ye, looks like a standard DPDT switch
Double Pole Double Throw
Should be able to get one locally for a couple of quid tbh .
Just make sure it's 230v and 1amp , won't draw very much current
likely scenario is 2 yellows are main winding and two wires will be live and neutral feed, the other two will then be the field winding (can be verified with ohm meter). live and neutral connect to each end of both main and field windings, to reverse direction switch the two field winding wires around.I took a pic of the wires before i cut them off and if need be i can open the other one up i have at the other side of the room its identical
