Champions League & Europa League: English clubs make history by taking four final places

English clubs have created European football history by taking all four final spots in the continent's two major competitions.

Arsenal won in Valencia and Chelsea beat Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday to reach the Europa League final.

That followed dramatic wins for Liverpool over Barcelona and Tottenham against Ajax in the Champions League.


It is the first time all four finalists in Europe's top two competitions have come from one nation.

Yeah great achievement just a shame we may have to wait another 300 years for it to happen again lol on a side note just a shame about united's wayward season in all the years ive been following football its the worse ive ever seen them perform over a season long campaign and i hope it aint a downward spiral for the club.
 
and the team sitting top of the league aint one of the 4, shows the strength of premier league. anyone can beat anyone
 
Best league in the world and has been for few years tbh.

French, german and italian leagues aint competitive.

Mind you spanish league isnt really that competitive anymore.
 
Hope Liverpool clinch the title today,maybe the celebrations will be so prolonged that they forget about CLF and my Spurs lift the cup

Yeah its staggering how the game has changed over years with the influx of foreign players but it just shows the strength of the premier league.
Dont care what anyone says until you have proved yourself in this league your not truly world class etc just a shame messi hasn't played over here to truly judge just how good he is because lets face it the pace of their league dont come close to premier league.

just about get a full squad between the 4 of them
 
Fair play to City deserved in the end.

But Liverpool showing they are the only team possibly to stop City in the next few seasons.

Spurs can do so but they need to buy more players to compete with both.

Cant see Chelsea, Arsenal or United challenging for the title for years tbh.
 
He's only been at Chelsea for 12 years he can't expect to walk into the 1st team straight away loftus cheek came from the same successfully youth setup as well as nathan Ake tammy abraham
Chelsea have a large number of players on loan all over Europe
Hazzard if he goes to Madrid won't be any better off as Madrid miles of Barcelona Juventus City
