Changing lnb

Hi I want to change the lnb on my dish but never done it before not sure if I need to unclip it or if it needs tool to release the lnb holder I have attached some photos I think it's the Clip but am worried about snapping it as it's been there years thanks

On yours you push in where I have circled (Both sides) and slide out

Once you slide it out , the lnb holder opens into 2 pieces

Is there a screw in the hole what needs undoing first?

there is a little push in on both sides and the holder slides out. then in that hole there will either be a screw head or a nut, look at other side, use a screwdriver to undue bolt and pull out, holder then opens out wide and releases the lnb. Dont break it as a bugger to replace.

For lnb get a golden media.

Tbh if you can't see there's something holding it together once you remove it, you shouldn't be allowed out on your own

I'm pretty sure that they have a screw holding the two bits together. Just under the LNB, where the hole is. Maybe the screw is not visible owing to the cobwebs?

You're fine standing on the bin as long as you put a plank of wood on it for extra stability.
