chipped vbox

hi all,

A friend has a chipped v1981n v+ box thats went on the blink. does anyone no how to fix/update etc

any help is appreciated👍

never heard of that kind of box mate, the only V+ boxes are SA8200 and the Samsung 3110 both HD
