Hi, Can anyone tell me if Common Interface and Conditional Access Modules are still a viable thing? As it always it seemed to be, information is very hard to find. TIA

You can get euro lines and lines for 28.2 satellites and use cccam or oscam softcams to open them yes

Thanks Pablo, im a little confused though, are you referring to CS using softcams? Im quite familiar with that, or was until IPTV! I was asking regarding the old physical matrix and diablo cams & cards you put in your CI slot. And can reprogram with DuoLabs CAS interface etc. Sorry if a bit confusing.

I don't know about archaic methods but the chances are the equipment is no longer available or viable

Yet plenty of boxes still have slots built in.Yes there are official cards one can buy to use.

The old white sky cards still work but only give about 3 extra channels.
I just use mine to get Yesterday +1.

I think people are still producing the predator files for dragon cams. I guess it's mainly for packages open with biss. I still have a gamma card which I think is programmed for bulsat but since 4k boxes came out I don't think cccam supports it. I think the laters cams could card share via WiFi.
