hi I have taken the plunge and have decided that my monthly sub to sly is ending and now looking at setting either a zgemma or something similar and more importantly have some forum support, I guess its an old question but whats the best I need recording options

Hi mate, plenty of support here for zgemma and other boxes, H2s if you go for Zgemma, VU+ solo se if your budget allows. For recording these boxes are both twin tuners all you need is an external usb hard drive 500gb or 1tb.

I would go for a box with internal hard drive as a minimum requirement it all depends on your budget really, if you have a virgin feed into your house then you can get hd which if you like to watch football and have a big tv is essential otherwise it's sd only

if your in a cable area worth getting cable box. eg zgemma h2 or h2h they are pretty nicr

I`d say the zgemma h2s for those on a budget or the vu+ brand box`s for those who can dig a little deeper in their pockets
