Config file problem

Having not used my Blade for months following an upgrade to an E2 box, I decided it was time to run a wire from my dish to the bedroom so I can use the blade in there. I've loaded the new (july 2014) firmware OK but am having problems with the config file which the blade just won't load. Anyone else had any problems?

Can you see the file listed when you go to upgrade by USB ?

Do you need it with this version ? I haven't used it.

Can you press menu then 9991 and enter your line manually ?

I have entered it manually and is working so I guess I don't "need" it other than entering it manually a bit of a ball ache if I need to change it. It was the one in the link I downloaded. Can't remember what the error was now and I've unplugged it all
