CrossEPG on Wooshbuild keeps corrupting?

Hi,

My dads H2S is setup with the latest wooshbuild and runs perfectly except his EPG keeps getting filled with garbage / same programs etc? I have deleted his EPG.dat and started from scratch several times but it just returns, i have also tried moving it from USB to Micro SD but the problem still persists, anyone got any ideas? Thanks in advance :)

WB Config now has an EPG delete function. Please make sure you are running WB Config v1.037 - if not either remove WB Config and re-install or do a software update.

This will remove the EPG cleanly and also the CrossEPG databases. Then you just need to do a CrossEPG scan again.
 
Thanks, read another post a few days ago about deleting the crossepg folder also as well as the epg.dat file so done that the other day and hes not been back on the phone so fingers crossed :) will update the WB Config when i go round next.
 
Thanks DjXs, I have been having this problem recurring over the last few weeks, neither deleting the bouquets or the EPG would solve the problem.

Deleting the folder completely seems to have done the trick for now!

How did you delete the folder?...on a pc?

If you are already using WB config 1.037 there is a deletion facility in there for this.
I suggest updating if not running this as the alternative is via dreamexplorer and deleting the files there.
 
The handiest way is to use Dream Explorer plugin and navigate to where the folder is stored and just delete it, in its entirety.


PS. Just say Benijofars post above, of course that is by far the handiest way.
