Differences in cable tuning cards

Hi

Having a bit of trouble tuning into all cable channels i am getting a blank screen on some even BBC HD3, when i do a rescan it comes back but then others go.

Im using a vu duo 2 hybrid DVB-C/T card and wondered what the difference is between this and the more expensive DVB-C /T2

Any pointers appreciated.

Just spoke to WOS for cable the type of tuner makes no difference.
