just wondering if having a different build or firmware matters how well the iptv works? Openvix or openatv?

Openvix never supported those boxes but others tweaked it to run on them.
Its like saying your box is running on a cloned image as its old.

Yes you could do that as ATV does support old boxes,but it depends what version of @willobuild is on your box.Willo might see this and advise.
Your box is low spec so you dont want to run too much stuff on it .Iptv works on it.
