Ok will do.

The top of the arc for me is 5w not 0.8w so with my motor at zero I line up everything straight for 5w using my meter.
When I go back to the box what's the next step?
Antenna settings/Satellite/motor/USALS/ then pressing select opens all the options shown in previous post.
I want to understand the options of store position, go to position, go to reference, go to xx

My pole and mount is perfectly plumb. Initially when I set up I aligned the dish using my satellite meter for 0.8w with everything straight and motor at zero. Connected lnb and went back to the box selected 0.8w while it was showing signal and set it to diseq 1.2 and stored position. Repeated this for a couple of other sats.

A lot of people make this mistake when setting up usuals motors.

Usuals takes care of true South so you dont setup a usuals motor using usuals like you have done.

Set up your coordinates on the GTMedia and turn on usuals for each sat position.

Now send the motor to 5w via selecting 5w on the Gtmedia.

Now align and tweak the motor manualy as you would normally

these options of store position, go to position, go to reference, go to xx are more assosiated with Diseqc 1.2

Store Position. You dont Usuals has it stored.
Goto refrence is normally your motors Zero and that is used if your motor looses it bearings.Like a reset
Got to xx is a set postion say 28.2 + your longditude or something along those lines.

So Usals does the calculation, ok I think I understand now.
Would I be correct in saying its possible I could tweak the alignment and peak any of the satellites across the arc?

Thanks

If you get your alignment correct there is no need to peak sats.

If you need to you would be better of changing that particular sat position back to Diseqc 1.2 and using that for a manual tweak and storing the tweak.
