Hi,
I received and set up (plugged in) my Cloud iBox 2 plus yesterday.
It came fully loaded. Everything is working OK with the exception
of the display panel on the front of the box. I've read else where
it could be an image problem. My suppliers answer was sorry that's
how it comes. I've decided that although it says Cloud ibox 2 plus,
on the front of the box, inside I found MaxDigital XL1000 so I guess
I have a clone. Anyway can you recommend an image that allows
the display panel to show the channel thats being viewed, and the
time when in standby.

The only way would be to use the manufactures own platform but that would have its own drawbacks. Has your box as probably been installed with openvix or openpli because its a clone there is no software cover for your box so it be difficult to get a version which may get it to work as you want.
 
If the ibox 2 plus runs vix it just shows dots on the front display unless it it booting.

Openpli shows channel names but they aren't displayed great, i.e Sky 1 shows up as ScY
With clones there usually is a sticker or something written on the box telling you the only place to download images from.

I am surpised to hear it has max digital xl100 written on it. Are you sure you aren't confusing this with the shutdown message on screen?

Open the box again and see what the circuit boards have on them. If it is P090 Power I can point you in the direction of images, likewise if it says airsat-ddt you will get images on here.

Hi, intrigue thanks for your reply. I think I miss led you re the max digital xl1000 when I say i saw it inside I didn't open the box up, I pressed menu-information there is says model MaxDigital XL 1000.
I open it up though because it sounds as if you can help me. Just to reiterate I only got the box yesterday and I'm completely new to this.

Think the boxes are max digital clones hence why it says it in the info file? Let me know when you've opened it up. Obviously disconnect all cables first!

I will do it tomorrow morning because the boss is home now. She's out shopping in the morning.

Hi,
I've opened the box and on the motherboard is printed "AIR DDT-1300HD RLO CA 2013/12/25"
I hope that helps you ti help me.

The images in the Icloud downloads section should be fine for your box. As Intrique says, VIX images will show 4 dots when watching channels. You could try either dumbguys Apollo 022 or Sucmnsee's 041 image. Both guys have done excellent work on the proxy links for TSmedia and for me they are the 'Yoda's' of Icloud boxes:)
