Dry christmas tree danger

Such an awful tragedy and thoughts obviously go to the rest of the family. The story doesn't say, but I wonder if this is another horrible situation that could have been possibly avoided by working smoke alarms, its a 1 minute job to test them and replace batteries if needed, any members reading this story, for the sake of your family, test it now while it's fresh in your mind.

So True mate glad mine are connected to fuse box under stairs plus have batteries in them but so tragic for a family to loose their lives especially this time of year
