Hi all.. Q asked me about Dubai & whattsapp, is this blocked or is there a get around it with vpn : if so which vpn , as I currently use freedome or what recommendations.. big thanx

Sorry prob to late with the reply mate...was in dubai in August and WhatsApp still blocked but works great with surf vpn...likely most vpns will work just used surf most of my stay.

You can use WhatsApp for messaging fine.

For video/voice calling you need a VPN. I used to use NordVPN when I lived there for a couple of years.

This also applies to Facetime, Facebook messenger etc as well

I currently use freedome.. however a pal uses this in uk.. he tried to use for iplayer in esp.. this wouldn’t work.. would this work in Dubai.. I have contacted freedome.. thanx for every1’s info
