'X Factor' judge Cheryl Cole was reportedly reduced to tears by one of the auditionees in Dublin.

Cole - Shed tears during Mary Byrne's performance

According to the Daily Star, the audition, which will feature in this week's show, left the Girls Aloud star wiping away tears.

'X Factor' hopeful Mary Byrne, who performed Shirley Bassey's 'I Who Have Nothing', reportedly impressed Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and guest judge Katy Perry too.

Cole said of the audition by the supermarket worker, who has been dubbed 'The next Susan Boyle': "That was my favourite audition in Dublin."

Cowell said: "I think, no, I know, you have an amazing voice. I don't know why you suffer from no confidence."

Cowell then said to his fellow judges: "I absolutely love her, she is genuinely a lovely woman with great talent and I hope the audience loves her too. She deserves this break."

I wonder how she will compare to Jordan Sparks (Who performed that song on American Idol and won it)?
