E2 freezing when changing channels

Hi all.

Noticing that my Zgemma H92H will freeze when changing channels (up and down) and was wondering what’s the best settings to use:

If I set to stream type 4097, then channel surfing works fine, but streams will not always clear the first time. If using 5002, then this freezing occurs every time.

Any tips for serviceapp settings?

Have noticed previously on my enigma same issue with stream types 4097 and 5002 with it just freezing and stuttering on the channels.

But I put it down to my box being 6+ years old and cant really handle iptv.

So could be your box not being powerful enough to handle streams.
 
Probably better off with a 4k firestick rather than zgemma. Although keep your zgemma in case cardshare comes back. I have had reports it is back on enigma boxes.
 
4097 seems to work best, but the audio keeps going out of sync. I’ll mess around with it as I much prefer E2 interface over fire sticks and android etc. Cardshare coming back would be the best thing though!

There is a plugin called audio sync you can download on zgemma and you can use it to bring audio back into sync

Yep got that one Baz, it just drifts out and in after a while using 4097/5001. Stream type 5002 is fine, although that’s when the channel changing lag happens. Strange one.
