Edision os mini remote

Is there any alternative remotes for this box?
Getting a few problems with them being temperamental.

I use an All For One 6440. Not sure if there's a setup code but it's really easy to copy the buttons over.
Same remote for the OS Mega as well :boo: they're proper rubbish remotes for such good boxes.

Contact where you got the box from and they should be able to say

The technomate remotes are rubbish as well,Best 2 are the xtrend and vu ones,Built like tanks

I've read quite a lot of complaints about the edision remote not being very responsive, I initially had problems when I first got the boxes and it turned out to be the shite batteries they supply with it, swapped them for Duracell's and they've both been as good as gold since.

As said above, If it's a new box then you probably have same problem I did, the new batteries supplied were crap and the remote was constantly working then not. Put some new decent ones, hold STB button for 5 seconds, you should not get any more issues (I haven't in the last 6 months)

on a support forum for Edison boxes (elsewhere) there's talk of prising open the remote as the 'bulb' is not always pointing forwards correctly.
