EPG 161 and 162 channel change in UK

anyone know what will happen to RTE One anD RTE 2 on 161 and 162 on 5th January?
Discovery Shed moves from 242 to 161 , Home & Health moves from 240 to 162 and Home & Health + 1 moves from 241 to 240 (all in Great Britain only)
 
will we (in UK) still get access to RTE1 and 2 but on different EPG numbers ?
 
is it likely to happen though ?
or are both sets of channels going to be screwed up come 5th january ?
 
Not sure I don't pull those channels with my own custom.xml. but abm has sat_282_sky_uk.xml in the channels to add by Id the rte channels will need to be moved to empty channel slots.

Abe2 does them differently and isn't updated as fast

When it happens use the config updater option in abm then rescan abm. Best to wait for abm to do it before trying to edit it yourself

Just looking at this and noticed a possible issue could you tell me what you get on 163? It should be pick plus 1 but the xml file has added tg4 to 163
 
don't think i've ever seen TG4.
i'm not in the house, but i'm checking via openwebif

nope, no TG4 on the EPG

be interested to know what other channels are available that aren't on the UK EPG.
mostly irish ones i would assume.

i only seen RTE 1 and 2 on the EPG, but i know there are others which haven't shown up on my EPG.

I've moved RTE1 and 2 and RG4 to 283 onwards

they are on 103 and 105 on the ROI EPG so should be easy to find?
still not sure why RTE2 isn't showing up even though the file has it on 284.
