On the subject of epgimporter if I want to add or remove channels from it is this possible.
I have certain ones ticked which were pre selected when it installed. But could I say remove the us a channels from the epg list. It go the opposite way and add a channel or two?

Always go with a supplier that has 24 hour support service. My one even has a private Facebook group where everyone can post issues and get them sorted by the iptv team or just members in general who may of had the same issues. This why going cheapest on iptv is not always the best. Not saying you did as I dont know your price. But many of the cheaper iptv out there lack certain customer service.

Do you mean you want epg removed from those channels. Or you just dont want the channels at all? You should be able to select your epg source. Which ones you want and don't want. Simple click on and off.

Your service provider should be able to tell you which epg is provided to use with your service.
 
I would like to see if I could add extra channels to the epg tabs.

He process loads of channels. Some I will never need. I was just wondering if I selected a category or deselected one and did a manual update would this be replicated when I press epg on my remote

Best thing to do is test it. You got nothing to lose. If it dont work just put it all back.
