I have a couple of iptv subs that were cheap!! as back up one in the bedroom and the other to back up my main subs, the epg now has stopped working on these Mutant and zgemma h2s, when I installed them with putty there was some instructions epg importer enable etc and all was fine but over time they just started to disappear, my settings have remained the same and my main subs still is displaying epg, I contacted my supplier who said that this support for enigma2 boxes was being fazed out!!
Is there any other plug in or way to include them as it was possible to record with the epg which was useful.
I am a newbee and would appreciate help in concise simple manner.

I think the biggest problem is, the IPTV providers are mostly re-sellers and they don't know anything about scripts, xtreme editor, for Enigma boxes

Support for enigma 2 is certainly not being fazed out,it sounds like you have a supplier that knows nothing. If you can get your m3u url and epg url you can use the suls plugin E2m3u2bouquet maker(or suls has a script you can run). See here https://www.suls.co.uk/enigma2-iptv-plugin/
