Can anybody advise on what to use for EPG on openatv been using vix and crossepg used to work fine but however doesn't works as good on openatv

It doesn't do it immediately, it takes a few minutes. So if you're on the guide and one moment the page is empty, flick down and then back to the same page and it should have one or two program names.

Takes a little while but it does work as I have epg-import on all of our boxes.

These are my settings :

Daily automatic import enable
Automatic start time 03:00
Standby at startup disable
When in deep standby skip the import
Show in plugin browser yes
Show in extensions no
Start import after boot up disable
Load long descriptions up to 3 days

Press Sources (blue button)
Select Rytec UK (you may have to scroll down pages)

Press Manual (yellow button)
Load Data – grab a cup of tea

Bet you said that to all the lads in school ;)

This is what you get (or something similar, I have a few mods for the tabs, channel numbers etc but still) when you press the epg button. Don't understand why so many people just use the channel selection screen when this is so much better to look at.

Mines kinda like that but doesn't have the entertainment sports tabs etc up top there kinda in groups like fta hd fta entertainment etc

Yeah that's probably down to how you've got your bouquet maker plugin set up, I haven't got them ones in mine because I didn't want them and like I say you had to install a mod to get the tabs. Are you getting your guide up by pressing tv/up or down?

By pressing epg... sometimes I use the channel history zapper thing if I'm watching norm tv but during the break of a show it's easy to switch to sp1 to see the footy scores lol

I use to be a kodi man (I still use it for movies) but I thought for a better live tv experience I thought I'd try this out.... I'm loving it but need to do a lot of learning

Aye I was the same. Spunked far too much on shite IPTV gear and subs before I got into this.

More customisable too, I think.

My BBC 1 never comes up on top always about 7th ...not sure why
