Epgimport 0 events on two devices but perfect on other

I have 3 devices (2 zgemmas z2s and a formuler 1) all running Wooshbuild latest version. I have a 3 device sub from a reseller of V.
All channels and EPG information were added through suls script (latest version)
All EPG information worked perfectly until weekend. Now, Epgimport works perfectly on 1 zgemma box but get 0 events on the other zgemma and formuler 1 box.
I've reinstalled epgimport, reran suls script, even copied over source xml files from /etc/epgimport and epgimport.conf from working zgemma to broken boxes) but no dice.
I know the boxes can get to the EPG information as I can wget the EPG gz file.
Any ideas? I'm completely lost.

And I cannot find epgimport log file :-(

Oh you just nailed it first shot. I forgot I had set service app on them. Thanks teddy.
I guess theres no workaround to use service app + epgimport

i think dsayers posted a potential fix, but ive not yet tested it - i'll try to find it.

but otherwise, no there is no way around it

Serviceapp now works fine with my box, EPG import runs and updates every day, I no longer have to switch serviceapp back off. I know it doesn't help, as I can't explain why it works on mine now, just throwing it out there.

I'm using Openvix, so not sure if that is what has the fix.
