external HDD & channel list

Can anyone give me a guide on how to get a HDD drive I want to get (500gb) to work with the zgemma box? (Newbie so please detail and let me know if I need to put anything files on HDD)

Also noticed that my channel list has not updated, has still got Christmas channel names and SSDarts chancel name, has anyone elses updated? Mine normally does automatically

Are you using openatv or openvix on your box?
Its different depending which one you have

assuming your using openatv this is what I did
Plug the new drive in the front USB leaving the old one in the back, initialise it, shut down the box, swap the drives so the new one is in the back, restart the box, make sure its mounted as HDD, create the swap file, download the EPG and your done
To initialise the drive its menu - setup - system - storage devices - initialisation
To check its mounted as HDD its menu - info panel - plugins - mount manager
To create the swap file its menu - info panel - plugins - swap manager

Cheers for this... how can I find out if I have openatv or openvix ... also in front I'm using it as a wifi USB
