Cable filezilla to zgemma issues

hello, i am trying to connect filezilla to zgemma ( i think) but i keep getting 'timed out' issue. Anyone had this issue? Please help been at this for dayssssss

check you have the correct ip of your box
menu/information/network/ip

then ftp with that ip, for user use root, leave password blank. I have to click ok twice to get in with my ftp programme

Hi fix zgemma h1 in my friend house and I came home try to connect ftp don't let me connect then I went his house then he connect I don't know why help me plz I can't figer out with out ur advice plz thanks

As tinribz said (forgot to thank him! Thanks @tinribz) ur using the rong ip. Use the ip from the zgemma box mate. U will.find it in networks

filezilla client used and recheck your box ip is correct and box is connected to internet and you have entered root to connect to box.

box is connect I was there I phone my friend put his ip address but can't connect it I can't solve this issue last 6 month

not sure I read you right lareb

you have set your friends box up at his house, and he could connect ok with ftp
you've then gone back to your house and tried to ftp with his box details and you can't connect.
is that correct?

you won't be able to if that's what you are trying, it's an ip assigned to his network
