Fire Stick authentication problem.

I bought a Fire Stick with Kodi etc installed for my nephew. Worked ok on my Wifi and also at his mothers. He took it home with him and got an "Authentication problem" on startup. I told him to turn his router off and on again, restart his fire stick and input his router password. He now tells me he is getting "No streams available" on everything.

Anyone any suggestions?

Is the authentication problem on the actual firestick or the kodi build that's installed on the firestick.
