Hi all
I have a firestick and am trying to get subtitles on all live TV and films have tried the normal switch on from firestick with no luck any help greatly appreciated

Your supplier will help. You may need to enable them on whichever app you are using.

Anybody know why my picture quality is different on the firestick than my normal TV aerial, its the same setting but the colour isn't as sharp

Because you are streaming in a lower resolution.

You can only stream what is supplied by your provider.

Mikes right it’s all down to your provider mate. Most are about 25fps or 50fps but should be decent enough mate with either one of those to be fair.

Yeah not much I can do then. Changed the settings loads of times and don't change much so gave up.

Ask your provider what settings he recommends. If you have everything as he says and still aren't happy then you could try a trial from another provider to compare stream quality.

Are you trying hd fhd os sd as most only have them at 30fps for like bbc ect it's usually sly movies and sports that have higher frame rate

Usually FHD on sport channels

Possibly 25fps them mate it's soly down to the source provider who provides the streams to your provider all he can really do is source another source or ask for better fps streams

Shouldnt make much difference.

The built in player of the apps work fine but you can try both VLC and MX to see if you notice any difference but personally the built in player has worked fine for myself.
