Firestick VPN not working

Hi looking for help as I have tried everyrhingnto resolve this issue and searched forums and get no answer. The issue i have is when EPL games are on, my iptv gets blocked unless I use a VPN. This is fine as i have signed up to ipvanish. ON all my devices this works and all channels play, EXCEPT on my firestick this includes Kodi / perfect player etc. Anyone else suffered this.. I've cleared app cache and data and still no luck.

I have just read your post and although I might not be able to help you re the Kodi side, I am running paid IPTV on my firesticks mark 2, I have recently signed up with IP vanish when I return to the UK next week. Although I hadn't tried it , because of your post I have just set the VPN for UK London best signal although we live down south. and gone straight into BBC iPlayer and channel 4 all four,. Obviously every thing working ok.
Maybe if you're trying to get into KODI, which I don't use, hopefully a more techie member might be able to help.

My IPTV on the firestick runs through STB EMULATOR Mac ID direct to the provider. and IP Vanish is loaded direct not through a second router hope this might help !!!
