The latest VM upgrade has seen not only CS users loose their sports channels but also users of old vm boxes. Its a simple phone call to get a new box if you subscribe but if you have a good CS line its not..

Surely its a pc hackers dream to come up with a work around to fool the firmware number on the V6 boxes for the rest of us????
 
It could be done like cs. A good needs sent every few seconds to virgin and every code will be different and if it seen the same code twice or a code not on the list it will get blocked

No idea how they work to tell the truth
Still not worried or holding my breath

The encryption system they use was design by mossad the Israeli Intelligence agency.
 
seeing as new firmware images are released often, isn't it a simple matter of matching the firmware to the V6 box?

dont think ya need Mossad or the CIA to do that surely...

software update? its hardware we need, nothing anyone, anywhere could do software related that will mimic a v6 box
 
Me personally i do not believe there is the will out there at the moment for it. Most of these persons that previously done things like this do it as a hobby, there was reports of mac cloning on V6 about a year ago and it turned out to be false.
Rules are made to broken, encryption is there to be decrypted. As much a i would love to see this happen both on vermin and sly on 28.2°e its safe to say its not going to happen anytime soon.
The war on copyright theft from both mentioned began several years ago, it will be a long drawn out road for sly to stop it.
As of now:
C/S on 28.2°e (all but gone)
C/S on vermin (gone soon)
IP*V (next target)

In the space of several years options from three is now down to one.
You can be assured sly and the gods above are not going to stop there. Hopefully someone somewhere comes up with new decryption/distribution on slyQ or V6 boxes. But in the real world its not going to happen anytime soon, thats if it ever happens.
Best just to enjoy the only option out there now. Or just pay legit for the hyped cr*p.
Then you have those say “I HAVE TO BUY A VPN FOR IP*V”.

Thats the world we are in now.

Yeah, a hackers dream to put in thousands of hours work for free so lots on the UK can watch TV. NOT!

Images are nothing to do with encryption ~ they are to do with ease of setting up by those of us without a clue of the inner workings of a Linux/enigma 2 box
