flash image using dcc

Tweaking settings on my ibox 2+ I have managed to get stuck in a loading loop. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to ( and if so how to do it) flash from a backup image using DCC, as it won't reflash from any of my usb sticks.

A thought on why the box might not like my usb sticks, to save a backup the disk must have an empty file called something like "backup.txt".
Can someone please check the exact name of this file. I'm wondering if this must be present for the box to boot from the usb.

Ok! If anyone is interested, here's how I managed to solve it.
Using DCC I went to usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ and removed all of the contents of the Extensions folder. Rebooted the box and it loaded. Then went to plugins and uninstalled all of the plugins that were in the folder ( this is necessary to remove registry settings). Rebooted the box and downloaded backup suite from Tunisia Sat. That allowed me to restore the image from my backup on usb.

Then I bricked it again! So still trying to find an answer.
