The Axolotl is classified as “critically endangered” and lives only in a lake beneath Mexico City. In captivity, this freaky animal eats a variety of readily available foods, including trout and salmon pellets, frozen or live bloodworms, earthworms, and waxworms. Yummy!

thanks H whilst looking at that i found this also a 2 headed python. Thanks for that link i have now subscribed to it :)
It does happen but not very often. The one you posted is a 2 headed Kingsnake, and im surprised that the other head is not trying to eat as well but it may only have 1 brain. They can survive for years!

Wheelo did you know that the Axolotl can change into a Salamander ...................... not many people do. I had a friend that bought one and it started to do strange things then 1 day she came down its it has morphed into the Salamander!
