Hi, I’m trying to freesat on my box, but when I search channels it’s only searching 80, and they are random channels, no bbc channel 4 itv etc etc basically all I was hoping for was free basic sky channels/virgin/free view

Have you enabled FreeSat in AutoBouquetMaker providers and disabled everything else?

Sorted it mate, the lnb on the sky dish is only for sky q so I need to change it to hybrid

I'm having the same problem, how do you do the above? I've got openatv on mine.
I'm just trying to get normal satellite channels on mine after giving up on woosh - just kept getting the blue screen :(

most of the free channels are on sky...

Ye but the lnb on the dish that comes with sky q doesn’t search all the channels, only searches for about 70, as soon as I changed lnb to a hybrid I’ve got all free sat channels

If you just have plain ATV you might have to install ABM from the plugin menu > systemplugins
I'm not sure if it's pre-installed on ATV, it is on ViX.

Cheers I'll try that. Unfortunately I've just lost all signal to the box so it looks like I'm going to have to sort the satellite out first.
