FTP issue

Just updated openvix.. It didn't back up 😔
So put willobuild back on etc.. Problem is I can no longer connect via FTP, I've changed password on the box a few times but it keeps saying 530 error when trying to connect? Any ideas?
Also the box keeps saying REC? But not recording anything

User name is root, password I've changed on the box using a 3 letter word (my name)
It's never failed before

It connects via putty which confuses me even more

All sorted, I deleted the connection and set up fresh 👍
