hi sorry if i posted this on wrong form, I am using google chrome on windows 8 but for some reason i cant type into google search it goes straight into url at top of page, only happens on chrome not firefox etc, thanks

Also, I think if you are typing in "techkings", for instance and you are getting your search results from bing or some other search engine, you can change your default search engine back to Google.
