[Guide] How To Get M3U Links From Streaming Sites

Threads like this made me want to make this guide. No idea if there's currently any out there, but here's my tutorial anyway.

This is very useful for when there's PPV events, or sporting events on. You can usually find tons of streaming links for the events at places like r/BoxingStreams and r/MMAStreams (There's nothing there now probably, that's because there's no current events, once events are coming up, they create a thread where people post their stream links for the event. You can skim through them to find some decent 720p or maybe even 1080p). This is good and all, but it's even better to be watching it in the comfort of on our big TV screens, so here is how to scrape the M3U link, and use it on your Engima2/IPTV box.

1. Find yourself some decent streams on the above links

2. With Chrome, load up the page and open Inspect Element, then select the Network tab

3. It should load up with a bunch of links that the data is coming from, if not, keep the tab open and refresh the page

4. Filter out the results with the word "M3U" to make looking for the stream URL easier.

5. You should see some links looking like "playlist.m3u", copy the ones you see and paste them into something like notepad.

6. Test them out in VLC using the network stream option.

7. Hopefully it'll give you the stream, and these are your working M3U streams. However, try and avoid any with "sessionID" because these links will usually expire every so often, so you'll have to keep going back to retrieve a new session ID and M3U stream.

8. Use a tool like EChannelizer to import the M3U stream onto your Enigma2 Box

9. Save the box settings to the box, and try the channel!

I'll start posting quality M3U streams when events come up, like I did once for an event. But this can also help you do it yourself.

Here's a video to help:
