H.2H help required

Hi All,

Here's what I have managed to do so far....

Installed image OpenVix 5.1
All channels searched on Virmin (Tuner B).
All channels searched (Tuner A) on satellites 39e, 28.2e, 23.5e, 19.2e, 13e, 4.8e, 0.8w, 12.5w and 30w.

Cccam.cfg, Newcamd.list and mg_cfg files dragged over to /etc/keys folder via ftp.

cccam file is for Sly, Newcamd is for V****n.

What I need to know is :
How do i get the channels unscrambled??

Cheers

Kieron

PS. more questions to follow..... probably!!

I have the satellite side working okay, but cant get anyTA SD ones.
Cccam and Newcamd files are in the correct locations.
Is there anything else I need to do?

Kieron

Just drop your C: line into the ccamd.list file for the satellite side and drop your N: Line into the newcamd.list file just remember to replace the N: part with CWS =

The files are in the correct folders, but still no channels have been cleared.
Cline channel on satellite are fine, Nline channels on cable are a no go

Installed image OpenVix 5.1

Apologies Confusion reigned there due to the fact that you are using OpenVix but they do not do a 5.1 image OpenATV on the other hand does.

so yes correct the CCcam.cfg file goes into /etc folder on the OpenVix image.

But Mgcamd can run both types through just the one emulator

So in that case, would I be better putting the CWS line into the Cccam file?

Kieron

As i explained in post 2 drop the C: line exactly as it is into the Cccamd.list file and then your cable CWS = line into the newcamd.list file and then goto blue button softcam manager and activate the Mgcamd emulator on its own

That's what I've done but still nothing unscrambled from the cable side..
Will the H2H automatically select the file to use??

Kieron

press blue button go to softcam managertick ya cam restart

But if Mgcamd can run both Cccam and Newcand lines, how do I differentiate which one Cable uses?
The CCCAM file is opening up all of the satellite channels, but the Newcamd file doesn't seem to open up the cable channels. I'm getting the FTA channels with no problem, just the channels that the Newcamd line should open up aren't being.
Is there anyway I can check to make sure the Newcamd is online online like I could on my old Openbox??

So... the Cccam (line beginning C: ) file is in the folder /etc
The Newcamd file (line beginning CWS =) is in the folder /etc/keys

I have both Cccamd 2.3.0 and MGCamd 1.38 installed.
Whilst watching Satellite, I press the blue button, got to softcam manager and it shows CCcam 230 with a green tick next to it, and mgcamd 138 underneath it without a green tick.
Under that it says active mgcamd 1.38, CCamd 2.3.0

Satellite channels aro on, cable ones aren't!!
Anyone want a Zgemma Star H2H before I launch it at the wall????
