H2S Wireless adapter

Hi,

I am trying to add a TP Link wireless adapter to a zGemma H2s box. However i cant get the box to recognise the adapter at all. I have tried downloading drivers from the plugins section but none of them have made any difference. Does anyone know how to manually add drivers to the box for the device or does anyone have any other advice on this one please? The device is a TP Link AC600 Wireless Dual Band USB Adapter Model Archer T2U. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

is homeplugs an option? or are you stuck with wifi?
The Wifi adaptor you have has this chipset MT7610U.
Try downloading this ipk http://openmb.net/feeds/miraclebox/...in-drivers-network-usb-mt7601u_1.0-r0_all.ipk

simply put it on a usb stick and plug your usb stick in it will ask if you want to install the ipk on the usb, click yes.
once you installed it plug in your wifi adaptor and reboot the box.
See if it picks it up then.

have you tried setting up the tp link via laptop? that's how I did mine (not sure if its the same model tp link though), also you need to have the switch on the tp link 'in the middle' - sorry to be so vague but its in france so don't have it to hand !
 
Hi MisterB, when you mean setting up via laptop, what exactly do you mean? The TP Link device i have doesnt have a switch on it, its just a small black usb device with a green light which lights when active. Thanks

did you ever get this working after?
what driver did you use?
I've tried a few with no joy...
 
can anyone tell me I have upgraded my image to the enigma2 with openatv I peviously has the blue HD skin with the openvix , now that I have upgraded I can no longer transfer my recorded programs from my zgemma hard drive wirelessly to my lap to anyone help

Hi Burlesy, did you have any success with this adaptor, I have the same TP-LINK was was looking to connect my H2H to our Wifi?
