Cable H7C catching up a recorded program

Hi,
Open VIX 5.3 latest build.
I go into Files and start playing a program already recording.
I FF thro the intro and ads.
When I get to live, it drops back to the files selection.
Which setting alters this, so when I reach live, it drops out of FF and just plays the program?

Yes think thats normal as my 7hs does the same when i get impatient and start looking at a program i am recording.

Can I ask, is this the same with ATV, Willobuild, Wooshbuild?

I can only say i use vix as dont use any other images so cannot confirm but would think it would be.

If any recording reaches the end it will stop and show the file list. This is the default setting.
Perhaps using timeshift will behave how you want it to? I think that should work but I haven't tried it.

It's easier to use the number buttons to skip through recordings rather than FF/REW
You can change the values in the recordings and playback section of the main menu.

How do I select target folder?

Use the CH+ button and highlight the folder you want and press green to OK it.

If you highlight a recording in the file list and press menu, there is an option to create a folder with the name of the recording.

I think i do timers the wrong way as when on that channel i want to record a program i scroll down to select it and press green button twice which leaves a timer to record my programs

I press red button on that channel brings up days of events so i know in advance whats on that channel i might like to record
