New here and having a bit of an issue with my box as the title says. I'm also fairly new with the Skybox's. I've had it for a while but never had to do anything with as haven't run into any problems except for the channels becoming scrambled every so often(only ever went down for a couple of days) It's probably worth nothing i did buy it as a package, so box+line so when i got it, it was good to go from the off.
Anyway, the main problem is the scrambled channels, all sky paid channels have been down for around a week now(free ones all work) and i can't get in touch with the guy i got it from, hes MIA. Is it a case of he's cut me and probably many more people off the line? I know of one other person that bought from the same person and is having the same issue.
I have went into 'camds setup > CCcam client setup > Manage config files > Selected CCcam.cfg' but there is nothing there when i click on it, hence i assume he cut us off. I may be wrong but i seen it on the forums so decided to check it out. I have also updated channel list from AJSAT, this sometimes fixed an issue before but not this time.
1. Do i need to go and get a line from somewhere? I have no idea how to go about this, never been down this road before.
Any help is greatly appreciated, please remember I'm new to all of this, so laymans terms if possible.
