Hi Guys, I have a slight niggle with my H1 box, and was wondering if anyone has a simple fix. I'm running with sucmnsee's vix backup April 2016( big thanx) using just tuner B for cable,on Mgcamd.
When I change channel from an sd channel to any HD channel incl ppv there is a 20 or 30 second delay, as I say not a major problem as everything else is fine. Thanx in advance.
 
some people say wait up to 40 seconds.....me my self....can't wait that long ...lol

once your on your PPV channels what's it like going from one to another.....(ppv to ppv)
 
Hi Straw, Yeh once I'm on the HD its fine going from one to another, just the initial move from sd to hd.

it's the way of the walk....

As you can imagine your "server" may be hosted say abroad somewhere and the time it takes for your traffic request to filter via all the hops and then back...(confirm keys/subs.etc) then well not to bad..... :)
 
Ok mate cheers, thanks for that, was just wondering as it had been pretty instant in the past, guess something may have changed. Thanks for the replies
 
it has a lot of checking to do in that initial transformation over from SD to PPV...like for example..." lets make sure the key isn't being used any where else" and it's not doing a bad job considering...

ha ! least your better of than me...my box died....and my TV booster arrived.... the irony.... :gah:
 
You're right, can't expect too much I suppose. At least you can look forward to a new faster box to play with, every cloud has a silver lining.:peace:
 
Straw, just for your info(and for others if needed), I managed to sort this, I updated the providers in Autobouquetmaker and left it on virmin previews for a while(as recommended by desayers in this forum👍 somewhere) and rebooted. All fairly instant again and bouquets upto date. So can rest a while until the next niggle.
