HDMI volume forwarding

Hi, got an odd issue with a Samsung TV where volume forwarding only works if I go into the menu and toggle volume forwarding and save it. Have 2 boxes running different versions of wooshbuild and both are the same. Hooked up to my Sony TV both work fine. Anyone know of a way I could programmatically do this as it happens everytime I power on from either cold or standby?

What is volume forwarding???

I don't think you have an answer to this as it's confusing what you are actually asking.

In the HDMI CEC settings it enables the forwarding of the volume control calls from the zgemma remote to the TV, which in turns forwards the controls to my soundbar.
