Help Amiko Mini HD combo

Please help im not very technical i have a amiko mini hd combo box with a vmserver line on it.
it shows that its connected ok but all channels are scrambled.
how do i get the channels back.

Try restarting the oscam on your box !
Menu/setup/softcam.cl /softcam manager then restart ! See if that works first
 
there is no softcam manager on an amiko
try turning off your router then your amiko, wait a couple of minutes turn your router back on, when router fully on turn amiko back on.
where did you get your line from?
 
got the line from a guy with the box. It has been working for months. its to a virgin media server. still shows connected OK. but channels have gone scrambled.
i think its something to do with re scanning the channels on a different frequency
 
Strange that as I've got amiko alien 2 triple tuner with softcam manager on it running vix4 e2 project

Thanks Gravehead didnt get it on ebay. the box was working up until christmas. server is still up. seems to be a channel problem
 
Menu - Installation - Cable Installation

Insert the first 4 digits of your net id into the frequency, so 50268 would become 502.6

Insert your symbol rate

flick through the QAM settings (Right button) until you get a green and yellow signal
across the bottom of the screen, either Green Button Scan or White Button Blind Scan will do

i dont have any of these settings from the tutorial.

each of the settings i pick have a green and yellow signal
 
the only things left to try are -
make sure your broadband/internet is working
make sure your box is receiving the internet and you can get free to air channels (bbc, itv, c4 etc)
check all connections to your box are tight and secure
rescan for channels (green or white buttons, use tutorial)
get in touch with your line/gift supplier and see if there is a problem at his end
and if all else fails get a test line to see if that works (use the link i posted in post no 8 above)
it does sound to me like you have been scammed and your line has been stopped
