Hi not been on here for a wee while but as title says lost alot of channels.
Since digging around the forum again I am finding out that everyone is having the same problems and there is some work around but they are all for the new woosh build but all these are going over my head and not helping.
Just to explain I don't really keep up to date on new builds I have the old vix build and I haven't reflashed anything I have had my zgemma over two years and just carried on my line/gift so no need for flashing box again so basically I am looking for help for someone on the older vix a work around so I can get the channels back or a link to somewhere where there is an explanation on how to do it for an older build if anyone can help it would be much appreciated thanks.
 
Workarounds work for all other channels that are missing as there are alternatives but as for sbo and Atlantic there is no alternative, Atlantic +1 works tho

Hi hideout so no sky Atlantic but what about sky sports news sports 4 no work around for me only for woosh the woosh one says press up then red for all channels I got that far but then it says press seven 4 times and that's where it totally loses me because nothing happens just moves up and down all over the place and the channel I want is nowhere to be seen I managed to get sky sports news back just by using the the first part Eg up red all channels seen some alternatives got one that worked then managed to save to favourites.
Then I tried the same with sky sports 4 but none of the alternative channels worked so couldn't save to favourites so basically only got sky sports news back.
So if there is a work around for me on old build can you guide me to it hideout please.

Hi not being funny but don't know what you mean when you say alternative the pressing 7 thing 4times does nothing for me and the alternative channels for sly sports 4 are not working there is 4 alternatives there,and neither work not being cheeky but your just telling me the same thing and as I said I'm on the old build so the woosh example doesn't apply to me so if there is a work around for old vix I would appreciate a guide but if there isn't just say there isn't because the alternatives don't work and the channel is either blank or says tuned failed thanks.
 
Sorry I didnt notice you was on an older version of wooshbuild he has the alternatives in a separate bouquets so I wasnt telling you the same thing
 
Sorry just re reading can you tell me what image are you using and are you using autobouquetmaker or autobouquet e2?
 
Hi Sayers I'm not even on woosh lol that means nothing to me I'm on vix can't remember what build but it never had woosh in the title just the build no and it it was sucmncee build thanks.
 
Hi not sure what you mean by image it is just an open vix build that I put on from a download from sucmnsee a couple of years ago thanks.
 
Hi OK thanks I will look through the link but how do I go about backing up my line if I lose it I can get it back from my provider and put it back on but if there is a better way backing it up I would appreciate how to go about doing that instead thanks.
 
Hi OK how do I go about doing that do I just copy it from my box back to a place on my PC or something like that is that possible thanks.
 
Yes via filezilla-client version

On your Box Menu > Info> Network > Get your box IP address
Open up Filezilla Host (top left ) Type in IP address Username root Leave others blank Press Quickconnect
Box should then connect to computer Left side computer, Right hand box
 
Hi guys, completely not tech savvy here so apologies in advance, I have exactly the same problem as the original post but can get the sports channels with the alternative (up red and use the other channel) but can anyone tell me is there a way of saving that alternative channel? And will this rectify itself with a software update? Thanks

Hi dsayers so after I do that can I save the line to somewhere like the desktop or a folder or something is that possible thanks.
