Help required - Box is a blomc - i am trying to renew an IPTV subscription with another supplier but says no channels found after configurations

Hello all,

Im trying to sort out my uncles IPTV box - hes got a blomc IPTV box, ive purchased a IPTV sub for him and i have followed this link
in how to configure the box,

I have entered the portal url from my provider into the iptv&vod column as per the youtube video, I then save the file to the usb
when i plug the usb into the box, it recognises the usb stick , i continue to follow the you tube video instructions and when i go to iptv it says no channels found?

The video link suggest its a piece of cake to get it to work, but it isn't working for me! any ideas what else i need to do or why it is not working ?

Dont know the box but normally if you entered the portal that is all u need to get your channels.
Dont understand why they ask for a file in usb

no idea its the first time im setting up an IPTV
i guess that how the box reads for the file ? you input the url on there website then download to a usb stick
 
might be the usb stick,if you use notepad ++ you can read the file on the usb stick to check the details are on it.

hi

ok, so are you suggesting thta if the file has actually been save on the usb stick then when i open the file with notepad ++ i should be able to see the url ?
or what am i looking for ?
 
check the file on the usb stick looks like this.

[IPTV-VOD]
[http://exampleportal:8080][Portal 1]
[http://][Portal 2]
[http://][Portal 3]
[http://][Portal 4]
[http://]

or just edit the portal 1 bit with your details,i just put through a portal url and thats what the converter gave out.

Hi

Tried it all last night - no joy - no idea as to why it just wouldn't work. the BLOMC configuration video - seems so easy but for some reason it just wouldn't find any channels.

i used my usb stick and my laptop last night - and yes the file looked perfect - just like yours.

i tried everything but no success -
even tried updating the software to the latest one just in case thinking previous sub seller has got some sort of block or what ever from anyone else adding a line or what ever i have no idea

not much info out there on the net either for this box - its a $hite box !!!

ow well - i tried for him,

thanks any way
 
The other thing i would check is the file type .portalcon and not .txt,Right click the file select Properties and check where it says Type of file

did you ever get it to work, i have come across the same box tried the instructions in the video but no luck..
 
Infomir (manufacturer of Mag Boxes) tend to block known providers.
U can try the following :
Add a "/ at end of "c/ being the URL given go you by your provider

Unplug the box then replug and do not touch anything until it loads. Stay on Mon menu and wait at least 1 minute to allow it to load.

Finally if still same problem ask your provider to remove the categories u don't need.

Lastly try with an external VPN router as msg boxes cannot be added VPN within the box
